Very disappointed! This was the third car we purchased from Lancaster Toyota and it was a nightmare. First the vehicle was priced like a new one. Then they told me our trade in was only worth $2000 and then turned around and listed it for $7705. It had just been inspected and had an oil change. The tires and brakes were very good, it was garage kept, and had all the service records written down so it needed very little work.
I dropped off my 2023 Tundra to have a recall fixed. I also have an issue with the spoiler staying in the down position but after reading reviews about dealerships finding excuses to say its not covered under warranty, I ended up telling them to NOT diagnos the problem and just fix the recall. Well they fixed the recall and still diagnosed the spoiler, and said its not covered under the warranty. I ended up not having to pay as I did have in writing that they would not check the spoiler and charge me. I got my truck back and as I'm driving out of the dealership, my exhaust is making clunking sounds. Once I got my truck home I checked underneath and found they must have loosened one clamp and moved the pipe slightly to cause a vibration - and I know this because I can see the metal is shiny where the clamp was before it was loosened and I can see wrench marks all over the pipe. I'm guessing they thought I was just a dumb female that wouldn't know what "that horrible clanking was" and would have to bring my truck back for them to diagnos and fix it. Considering I installed the exhaust just a few months ago, the jokes on them. I know mechanics at other dealerships are encouraged to find more issues with vehicles to make the company more money, and it looks like this dealership isn't any different, which is a shame.
My son toke his 2005 tundra to the service dept and said he needed a radiator because you could visibly see the leak on the radiator transmission line out at the bottom of the radiator and to also check transmission fluid level because it doesn’t have a transmission dip stick !!! They told him they needed to look at it first then give an estimate . Guess what they said , you need a radiator and they won’t top off the fluid unless they flush it first . So for $150.00 they said the same thing my son said you need a new radiator !! And not sure what flushing the transmission had anything to do with the leak in the radiator !! That was not very professional not listening to the customer request ! Another dissatisfied customer at my sons expense !!! So there total to fix was $1800.00 a bit over the top !!! BTW Toyota is the only one that has the key for checking the fluid level that’s why the price is doubled !!!!!!!😡 What a joke !
Honestly I would recommend this dealership to anyone The whole car buying process is always nerve recking an my mom and I got so lucky have Edgar and Christian who made this whole process so smooth for both us. I feel like we were both taken care of an had our best interest in mind. Thanks guys!!

We have been a customer of Lancaster Toyota for over 20 years. We really like their service department because the mechanics are honest and don't take advantage of you to do repairs you don't need. Not long ago I took my 2002 Toyota Sequoia in for a new steering box which I thought would cost over $1000. The mechanic told me that it was just out of alignment and needed a high tech spin balance on the tires. That was much less expensive and solved the poor steering feel I was getting on the vehicle. We always call to talk to our service advisor Lisa Troupe because she is really great. I now ask for this honest mechanic Nate Collins every time I go in. I recently took the time to type a long message in the chatbox with questions about a new vehicle. Before I could get the message spellchecked the item I had taken 15 -20 minutes to write disappeared wasting about 15 minutes of my time. I was thoroughly disgusted with the very impersonal and careless way their online chat system handled me as a loyal client. I got back in and complained and the online chat service person sent me some links to look at. When I clicked on one of the links the second chate I have started was lost. Really annoying. It is my opinion that whoever the highly compensated website master is for this company should be replaced with someone with the same kind of customer sensitivity that my mechanic has. How could a company that has spent millions of dollars building such beautiful facilities and creating such an amazing client experience in their service department allow such a careless client experience with their online chat system?
I truly loved the top notch friendly and very professional customer service I’ve received from Francis Mendez and Victoria Gaul. It’s incredibly rare that anyone goes an extra mile for a customer. I’m grateful for all their help. . . . Now that's what you call great customer service! Keep up the good work ladies

I took my car in for a car battery replacement and had a $4000! After the battery replacement, suddenly my check engine light was on, then my combination meter was out, and then they claimed my ABS light was on and they were unable to turn it off YET it is not on and hasn't been on since pick up. When I tried to ask questions as this makes me VERY suspicious I was met anything but answers. Coporate told me they can't help because they are separate from dealerships and that is BULL. I filed a complaint with the BBB and all the Steve guy did was lie. I did not ask for discounts or free repairs. Why are you lying and saying this? I did not recieve video of the ABS light on. The combination meter was on in previous videos. These problems were not a problem when the car was dropped off. Why were they a problem now? The only reason I got these repairs is I am in college and trying to make a living and need a car. Why were the old parts not offer to me? Why was it implied I lied? Why was my questions always danced around? None of my questions have been answered and you are not responding to the direct issues. I am highly suspicious of your practice and very disappointed. I WANT ANSWERS. I can't believe your awful practice. Should have just went with Honda

Ben was very nice and clear once we decided to buy our Highlander. The process happened as described initially, not last minute surprises. The last part was very annoying at the end signing the documents with Matt he made us feel that he wanted to avoid all contact and not caring for the customers. We all know that there is a pandemic but he asked us silly stuff like ... if we wanted to keep the Lysol wipes or dropped the pens over the desk to avoid handing over to us.

I brought my car to your dealership for service on Jan. 8. Your service advisor, Peter Bruchez met me at my car and directed me to his desk. He was very polite, friendly and courteous. After the service was completed, he indicated that my tires were getting worn and one had a nail embedded. He provided me with a list of brand name tires and prices, and he indicated which tires were best for the money. This made it easy for me to choose. As ususual at Lancaster Toyota, I was given excellent service.
