Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Lancaster

St. Patrick’s DaySpring is just around the corner, which means it’s time to pull out your green clothes and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. This fun-filled day celebrates all things Irish and you don’t even have to be Irish to join in the fun. Here are a few fun events to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Lancaster.

 

Make Your Own Irish Luck at Lancaster Public Library

For a fun event for the whole family, head to the Lancaster Public Library West-Mountville Branch to create 3D Irish shamrock and learn about the history and significance of this Irish symbol. The program is free, but you must register beforehand. It will be on March 17th from 6-7pm.

 

Patrick’s Day Celebration at Tellus36

Visit Tellus360, the local Lancaster Irish Pub, for a celebration all day long on March 17th. They will start the day early with doors opening at 6am. There will be live music and traditional Irish food and drink all day with the Ogham Stones performing at 8:30pm.

 

St Patrick’s Day Parade near Harrisburg

Nearby Harrisburg will hold its 16th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 19th at 2pm.

 

King Street Seisium BLock Party

On Sunday March 20th, from 11am through 7pm, there will be a grand all-things-Irish block party in downtown Lancaster.
